This morning I tried Yoga Nidra for the first time as part of the 21 Day Art Manifestation of @theartbeatclub. I’m not sure it went as it should, but I didn’t fall asleep 🙂 Somewhere halfway I got this strange sensation. We where visualizing looking in a flame and looking away from that flame. A wave of cold came over me when I did that, right from my solar plexus, real strange. That’s what this artwork is about, that feeling in yellow and greenish blue.
I’ve been following @drop.in.a.drop for a few weeks now and I love the way Julia Dombrowski makes a mesmerizing study of colorful drops on paper. It’s not as easy as it looks.
